Sebastián Dal Pozzo is a partner of Dal Pozzo Medina Abogados. He holds a law degree from Diego Portales University and a Diploma in Criminal Procedure Reform and Oral Litigation, Diego Portales University. He also participated in courses on oral litigation techniques at California Western School of Law, and the National Institute for Trial Advocacy (NITA) in 2009, both in the United States.

In his early professional career he worked as a litigator in a law firm specializing in criminal litigation, and then in 2005 he joined the Court Unit of the South Metropolitan Regional Prosecutor’s Office of the Public Prosecutor’s Office. Subsequently, he took over in 2010 as Chief Attorney of the Judicial Area of the Ministry of the Interior, Chilean Government. From 2012 to present he has been practicing law freely, and from 2017 until the end of 2021 he was a partner of the law firm Harasic, Medina y Dal Pozzo.

He has been a professor of Procedural Law and Oral Litigation at the Andrés Bello University. He has also been a professor of Oral Litigation in postgraduate courses at several national universities and private and public institutions, such as the Catholic University, University of Chile, Adolfo Ibáñez University, Judicial Academy, Institute of Judicial Studies, Public Criminal Defense Office, Labor Defense Office, among other institutions.

He has participated as a professor in international trainings on the criminal procedure system in several countries such as Mexico, Panama and Colombia.
